The Inn Guest House at Chateau LaFayette Reneau
Originally built as the home of fruit farmer George Cortin in 1911, and later restored into an Inn for guests along the wine trail, the Inn at Chateau LaFayette Reneau has transformed over the years into what it is today: a five-room guest house, available as a whole house rental for one group booking at a time.
Breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyards and Seneca Lake can be seen from each room. All five rooms have private baths and three feature Jacuzzis. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, flat screen Cable TVs, air conditioning, full kitchen with dishware and cookware, and a large gas barbeque on the deck. These amenities, plus original woodwork and craftsman-style architecture, create the perfect combination of simple luxury and preserved antiquity.
The wrap-around deck facing the lake is an ideal place for relaxation while basking in the surroundings. The vista is brilliant all day and offers magnificent sunsets to admire from comfy Adirondack chairs. Central location to Watkins Glen, Geneva, Ithaca and Corning gives you plenty of options for hiking, and exploring our region.

Check out what our past guests had to say about the Inn:
“Charming older house but clean and comfortable. Shared this house with my 9 running friends and there was enough space for all of us. Even hot water never went cold. We enjoyed the winery next door as well!! “

“This five bedroom, five bathroom house in a beautiful setting, with a spectacular view of Seneca Lake, was a perfect place for our first ever family reunion. The property has all the amenities to make for a relaxing Finger Lakes vacation. “

“We had a wonderful stay at the Inn! It was perfect for our large group and the house and views were amazing.. “
Meghan, July 2019
“Close to wineries...the house is very big and had plenty of room for us to not be on top of each other. Loved having our own bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again!“
